MK1 AIR CLEANERS
('BL' Parts Books)
Theoretically (according to BL parts book 519579/B), all MK1 (European) Stags ere equipped with 'Twin-intake' air cleaners that did not have a 'Thermic' valve fitted. In a later (reprinted) 'BL' parts book, however, it clearly states that late MK1's could be fitted with a 'Thermic' valve?
Just a little confusing!

So, although we have illustrated the version showing a MK1 air cleaner fitted with the valve (just to be safe!), we are not convinced the illustration and/or the information from the factory is correct. If it is, then we have used the proper drawing. If though (as we have always believed) that MK1's for the UK & Europe were never equipped with a 'Thermic valve' , then just ignore it!
