Transverse leaf springs as fitted to all small chassis Triumph's rely on some simple insulator/slipper pads fitted between each leaf of the spring. These naturally wear over time and are often neglected, resulting in an incorrectly spaced spring leaf and a lower than normal ride height.
Replacing these will help to restore your suspension geometry.

This kit includes all insulator pads, spring eye bushes, spring box pivot tube & insulator and the nuts, bolts and spacer tubes required to service the rear spring.
Suitable for Swing Spring type vehicles only.

This spring is for a Gentry kit car which is primarily Vitesse based but the kit car company recommends a Spitfire rear leaf spring as it’s much lighter at the back than the Vitesse. I opted to go for the Swing Spring version along with an all new fitting kit. I had to dismantle the spring to fit this along with a 3/4” lowering block but it all went back together again easily and fitted perfectly. Thank you Rimmer for an excellent product, great quality and a super quick delivery. 5 stars!
