for 35DE8 electronic distributor - Includes all parts and instructions necessary to convert V8 Lucas 35D8 points type distributor to breakerless electronic ignition, or to improve 35DE8 electronic distributor. Benefits include better starting/reliability, reduced maintenance and improved performance/mpg. (Distributor can also be converted back if so desired).

Triumph TR8 Lumenition Kits
Standard Kits include power pack & fitting kit. Performance Kits also include a special Coil.

A Lumenition kit is available for the 35DE8 V8 Opus distributor, fitted from '76-'85 (SD1). The kit converts the magnetic pick-up type electronic distributor to the simpler and more reliable optical triggering system.

We also offer a kit for the earlier 35D8 points type distributor as fitted to the Rover P6 and MGB V8

No kit is currently available for the 35DM8 distributor (1985 on).
