Although you can re-use your existing TR7 5 speed rear axle in the TR8 conversion, we recommend fitting the TR8 axle (3.08:1 ratio), which will give you a more suitably geared vehice. Please refer to main TR7 Rear Axle (5 speed) section for rear axle/differential components.
