Thermo-Tech exhaust insulating wrap reduces under bonnet temperatures by as much as 70%, this increases air intake and exhaust gas velocity which adds performance.
Retaining the heat in the exhaust protects you from mechanical burns and it will also help to prevent under bonnet parts. Any electrical components which are close to the manifold will be less prone to heat failure, increasing their life and performance. As an added benefit, under bonnet noise is also reduced! Thermo-Tec can be used on any 4 stroke, 2 stroke or diesel engines and contains no asbestos or carcinogens.
The Snap Strap Installation Kit secures Thermo-Tec exhaust insulation wrap to your tubular manifold(s). A stainless steel high temperature material designed better than hose clamps and is easier to use.
Also recommended is Hy-cote paint. This preserves and protects the exhaust wrap after installation. Extra resins and binders seal the pores, toughen the surface and help extend the life of the wrap.
