Retooled by Rimmer Bros, these units are manufactured to OE specifications and perform as originally intended by the suspension designers at Triumph. No suspension adjustments or complex set up required, just fit and forget!

The rear shock absorber on a Rotoflex GT6 is unique to that model. It's stronger in construction and has a longer stroke to accommodate the minor relocation of the damper mounting and performance characteristics of the vehicle.

Because the correct standard shock absorbers have previously been unavailable for so long, we often see GT6's fitted with the incorrect units, usually taken from a Spitfire! These arrest the suspension travel and are not correct for the vehicle.

The KSX damper range is specifically designed for Classic Car owners who need a Bespoke solution to their suspension needs.

The basic principle of the KSX range is to allow you to create your own specification of damper from a standardised range of damper bodies and end fixings.

KSX dampers have 28 stages of on car stiffness adjustment. The adjustment is made with no dismantling and it alters both the bump and rebound forces in unison. The damping characteristics have been specially designed to be ideal for touring and for fast road use. SPAX KSX dampers are pressurized with Krypton gas. This produces not only superior low speed ride quality, but also high speed performance that is significantly improved.

KSX dampers are designed and hand built to the strictest German TüV quality standards, using the latest technologies and methods. Each and every damper is fully Dyno Tested to ensure you get 100% performance, 100% quality, 100% guaranteed. All KSX dampers are Epoxy Powder coated and oven cured for second to none looks and extra long life.

The KSX range has been designed so it can be serviced, re-valved and repaired if required. This allows a long and economic damper life.

The bracket kit allows the upper shock absorber mounting to be bolted directly to the chassis (and, in the case of the Triumph, Vitesse allows the lever arm damper & link set up to be replaced with the more effective telescopic shock absorbers).
This offers a more positive location and improves handling. The brackets are designed to be used with shock absorber GDA4011 which is available in either standard or a variety of uprated specifications.

My 72 GT6’s rear shock absorbers were almost falling off and this conversion made the shocks more secure by bolting it to the chasis.
