Note:It is quite straightforward to overhaul your existing carburetors
using the service items listed with the help of a workshop manual. With the tightening
of the MOT regulations regarding ‘Exhaust Emissions,’ it is therefore even more
important that your carb’s are maintained in good order! We can
recondition you existing SU carburetor(s), or can often supply reconditioned
carbs to special order (prices on application). The listings here
however, are primarily for identification purposes, they will also show if you have
the correct carb(s) fitted. To check, the carb(s) can be positively identified
by a silver tag which is located on the flat chamber and is marked
with the part number, eg, AUD661F. Having identified your
carb(s), all you need do is then refer to the corresponding carburetor components. The reference
numbers quoted in the following listings against the model type,
are Engine numbers not Chassis numbers.
