Flock/Felt kit for drop glass frame 3 felts per door kit. 1 kit per door. Stag Owners Club Tooling Fund Limited, or SOCTFL was established by the Stag Owners Club in the early ’90s for the purpose of encouraging re manufacture of high quality body panels and other parts for the Triumph Stag that are no longer available from original sources.

SOCTFL is able to make limited grants and loans to manufacturers to subsidise tooling and production, and has established a distribution network in co-operation with the specialist suppliers.

By this means they have been able to encourage manufacture and distribution in low volumes in order to offer these high quality parts at affordable prices. The basis under which this is achieved is agreed between SOCTFL and the National Committee of the Stag Owners Club.

Tedious to install but worth the effort

I installed this door welting on my '73 Triumph 2000 Mk2. The product is well made. The installation is a bit tedious simply because the welting wants to twist and turn upon itself but eventually it makes for a lovely job. A pair of channel lock pliers and a plastic hammer or a small ball peen hammer are useful. The hammer will help the welt to cinch onto the door frame. Should one need to open the "C channel a bit to seat the welt, the channel lock pliers will help restore the "bite". More than anything, it's a pain in the arsenal to install but have patience and be rewarded with a nice job!
