Rover SD1 Power Steering

Power Steering Rack Identification
There are various different makes of PAS rack, each of which will fit any models. However, some early vehicles had a PAS rack with a pinion housing of 65mm (Dimension 'A'). These must be replaced with the same to correclty mate with the lower shaft. (Dimension 'A' on all other racks is 100mm). Some racks have a removable LH mounting bracket, which is no longer available and not supplied with replacement racks. Therefore it must be retained for fitting.
