The difference between the two plastic ones is a cosmetic bright finished edge on the later type.
Other models from the Triumph range (Stag, Innsbruck) were fitted with similar vents to those in the TR6.
The metal vents are retained in the fascia by a stud ring, clamps and nuts
The plastic vents are secured by clips moulded on the periphery of the louvre.

Triumph TR6 Air Louvres
The plastic fascia fresh air louvre assemblies are interchangeable. The difference between the two plastic ones is a cosmetic bright finished edge on the later type. Other models from the Triumph range (TR5, Stag, 2500) were fitted with similar (but not identical) vents to those in the TR6. The metal vents are retained in the fascia by a stud ring, clamps and nuts; the plastic vents are secured by clips on the periphery of the louvre.

All our re-manufactured interior trim is produced to the highest standard. If you genuinely believe that any of our trim (seat covers/carpets etc) does not/will not fit then we will either exchange it, or offer a full refund (in line with our normal procedure). However, if any item of trim has been modified in any way whatsoever (ie cut, trimmed, unstitched, etc) by the purchaser in an attempt to rectify a problem, then any claims for faulty goods will be Null & Void.
