Centre Caps 3 Eared Chrome - RH
Dom's expert tip:
The basic idea with the eared centre "knock off" caps (2 & 3 eared) is you knock the heck out of the ears with the copper & hide hammer (KACH100) to tighten or loosen the cap.
Obviously with the octagonal caps there's nothing on them to knock the heck out of. This is what KAS42 is designed for. The idea being that you locate it on the octagonal centre cap & hit the handle with the hammer to tighten or loosen it.
RX1498 & RX1499 are a different concept. They are long bars with suitably designed ends to locate on either the octagonal (RX1499) or 2 eared (RX1498) centre caps. The longer bar gives better leverage meaning you don't need to knock the heck out of them with a hammer!
RX1498 is only suitable for the 2 eared caps & there is no version available for the 3 eared caps.
Eared centre caps not allowed in some countries. Use alternative Octagonal centres if in doubt.
