If you have the ability to accomplish it, we believe it is possible to assemble a body shell using the components listed opposite - providing there is an old shell alongside that can be used as a datum/reference.
In addition there is a 60 page section at the rear of the factory workshop manual (AKM5343) - or on CD Rom (HMCC6001) - giving details of general repair methods, welding techniques, adhesives and sealers, jig locations etc as well as panel - by panel details.
Many components are supplied as sub assemblys which makes it easier to piece together and align.
The bodyshell kit is almost 90% complete apart from the front inner flitch assemblies (ACP 1004 and ACP1005) which are now no longer available.
These have been removed from the kit and the kit price has been reduced.
Existing flitches will have to be refurbished as necessary.
Alternatively of course, you may decide to fully rebuild your existing body shell using the parts supplied in this kit.
Parts not required can be removed from the kit and credited accordingly.
Please note: the Body Shell Kit is not included in our ‘Total Kit’.
