Uprated Brake Kits (Front)

Choice of 3 uprated brake kits
We currently offer 3 variations of Uprated Front Brake Kits for the TR7/TR8, differing by the type of brake disc, or 4-pot caliper supplied. Whether you are upgrading your standard TR7, or modifying to full TR7-V8 specification, select the kit that best suits your needs - or driving style.

Silicone Brake Fluid
Unlike normal brake fluids, Silicone fluid does not absorb moisture, so avoiding corrosion in the system. Under strenuous braking conditions it tends not to 'Boil', and it does not harm paintwork if spilt. Note; before filling with Silicone brake fluid, the entire brake hydraulic system should be flushed out.

Uprated Brake 'Kit 1'

This kit comprises of; 2 solid brake discs, 2 '4-pot' calipers, brake pads, fittings & instructions.
This kit can be used with the standard 13" TR7 Alloy (& most steel) wheels, without the use of a spacer. See also; Service Items-Uprated Brake Kits

Uprated Brake 'Kit 2'
Part No - RB7137

This kit comprises of; 2 vented brake discs, 2 '4-pot' calipers, brake pads, fittings & instructions.
This kit can be used with the standard 13" TR7 Alloy (& most steel) wheels, without the use of a spacer. See also; Service Items-Uprated Brake Kits

Uprated Brake 'Kit 3'
Part No - RB7117

This kit is comprised of components derived from the Rover Vitesse, adapted to fit the standard TR7 4-stud hub, it includes: 2 vented brake discs, 2 extra large '4-pot' calipers, brake pads, 2 Braided brake hoses, fittings & instructions.
This kit cannot be used with standard 13" TR7 wheels, minimum 14" wheels must be used for internal clearance. See Road Wheels section for details of Compomotive, AllyCat and Minilite (Replica) wheel sets. See also; Service Items-Uprated Brake Kits
