Where Commission numbers are quoted in the Engine & Clutch Section (to help identify Factory Specification changes), they relate to the Original Components as fitted when the vehicle was new, and not subsequent replacements.

Note; using a low compression short engine (or pistons) can help prolong engine life. This may be useful to UK/European customers if the cylinder head has been 'overskimmed', resulting in too high a compression ratio.

Unlike 'normal' clutch/brake fluids, Silcone fluid does not absorb moisture. This will avoid corrosion in the system (and under strenuous braking conditions tends not to Boil'). Also it won't harm paintwork if split.
Note; before filling with Silicone brake fluid, the entire hydraulic system should be flushed out.
