Where Commission numbers are quoted in the Automatic Gearbox Section (to help identify Factory Specification changes), they relate to the Original Gearbox as fitted when the vehicle was new, and not subsequent replacements.
Note; there are 2 different types of Borg Warner automatic gearbox's fitted to TR7's; Type 65 up to VIN 402026 (1980 models). Type 66 from VIN 402027 (1981 onwards). We have stocks of Brand New type 65 gearboxes (inc torque converter) which can be fitted (as a complete unit) to any year of vehicle.
