We have tried to make it as easy as possible for you to select and order the conversion kit that best suits your budget and requirements, so we have created 4 starter kits to convert your TR7 to a TR7 16v Sprint.
Every kit contains all the major components required to do the job. After choosing which full Full engine you require (New or Reconditioned), you can then specify which uprated brake kit you prefer, either Solid non-vented brake discs (brake kit '1' - RB7090) with
4-pot calipers pads & fittings, or Vented brake discs (brake kit '2' - RB7137) with 4-pot calipers, pads & fittings.
In addition to the Solid and Vented brake packages offered in all our 16v conversion kits, you can now specify our fabulous 'Big-Kit' Vented uprated brake package (brake kit '3' - RB7117). This brake kit (which is derived from the powerful Rover Vitesse and adapted to fit standard TR7 4-stud hubs) comprises; extra large 4-pot calipers, vented discs, pads, braided hoses, fittings & instructions.
To calculate the addittional cost for the 'Big-Kit' brake package in the conversion kit you have chosen, Deduct the cost of the brake package in that kit, then Add the cost of the 'Big-Kit' brake package.
Please Note; The uprated Solid & Vented brake kits (brake kits 1 & 2) offered in our 16v conversion kits can be used with the standard specification 13" TR7 Alloy road wheels, and most standard steel road wheels, however, our Big-Kit brake package (brake kit 3) CAN ONLY be used with 14" (Minimum) Diameter Road Wheels.
We supply mild steel tubular manifolds in our TR7 16v Sprint conversion kits, but you can upgrade to stainless steel manifolds for a small additional charge, please enquire.
Our 16v Conversion Kits give you the basic parts needed to initiate the TR7 16v Sprint conversion, but, there are many other parts (listed throughout this catalogue) you may wish to consider fitting to further improve your TR7 16v Sprint in the future such as; front 'Anti-Dive' kit, uprated/lowered road springs, uprated shock absorbers such as Spax or Koni, uprated (hard) supension bushes, Sports road wheels/tyres (AllyCat, Minilite replica & Compomotive), and body styling kits.
