Our TR8 Conversion Kits Make it Easy
We have tried to make it as easy as possible for you to select and order the kit that best suits your budget and requirements, so we have created 5 starter kits for you to choose from to convert your TR7 to a TR8.
Kits 2, 3, 4 & 5 are based on kit 1, but offer different combinations of exhaust systems and uprated brake kits. For example, you can have a 'quieter' twin centre box system (in lieu of the 'H' pipe) or tubular extractor manifolds (in lieu of Cast Iron Manifolds), or the 'loud drainpipe' large bore single exhaust. You can then specify which Uprated Brake kit you prefer; 'A' conversion kits come with Solid Non-Vented brak Starting with the basic kit (No1), we have listed the major components required to do the job. e discs (brake kit '1' RB7090), 4-pot calipers, pads & fittings, and 'B' conversion kits come with Vented brake discs (brake kit '2' RB7137), 4-pot calipers, pads & fittings.
In addition to the Solid and Vented brake packages offered in all our TR8 conversion kits, you can now specify our fabulous 'Big-Kit' Vented uprated brake package (brake kit '3' RB7117). This brake kit (which is derived from the powerful Rover Vitesse and adapted to fit standard TR7 4-stud hubs) comprises; extra large 4-pot calipers, vented discs, pads, braided hoses, fittings & instructions.
To calculate the addittional cost for the 'Big-Kit' brake package in the conversion kit you have chosen, Deduct the cost of the brake package in that kit, then Add the cost of the 'Big-Kit' brake package.
Please Note; Our uprated Solid & Vented brake kits (brake kits 1 & 2) offered in our TR8 conversion kits can be used with the standard specification 13" TR7 Alloy road wheels, and most standard steel road wheels, however, our Big-Kit brake package (brake kit 3) CAN ONLY be used with 14" (minimum) diameter road wheels.

We supply mild steel tubular manifolds in our TR8 conversion kits, but you can upgrade to stainless steel manifolds for a small additional charge, please enquire.


Why Stop Here ?
Our Starter Kits give you the basic parts needed to initiate the TR8 conversion, but there are many other parts (listed throughout this catalogue) you may wish to consider fitting to further improve your TR8 in the future, such as; front Anti-Dive kit, uprated/lowered road springs, uprated shock absorbers such as Spax or Koni, uprated (hard) supension bushes, Sport's road wheels/tyres (AllyCat, Minilite Replica & Compomotive) power steering, rear axle/ratio, chromed engine components and a body styling kit, and if the standard 3.5 V8 is not powerful enough for you we have a special 'V8' Performance section that not only includes uprated cam's, stage 1 & 2 heads etc, but also full 3.5 & 3.9 performance engines!

Note; your old TR7 rev' counter is required in exchange for the unit that we supply in our conversion kits. Although we don't apply a surcharge, we would ask for your cooperation by returning this item so we can continue the service for other customers.
