We have available a full range of interior trim (including carpets, door trim panels and headlining kits) for the Triumph Vitesse (both saloon & convertible), so at long last the owners of these Classic Triumphs can now restore, and renovate their vehicles to a standard that has not been possible for many years.
Whether you are just wanting to replace a damaged board, re-trim a tired seat, replace worn carpets, or are contemplating a complete interior restoration project, from the following listings you will find the part or kit suitable for your needs and budget.
Our comprehensive range of trim boards and seat trim kits are as the original, both in colour and grain.
Although the Triumph Vitesse was produced with a varied selection of trim colours (inc. Cactus, Phantom Grey and Coffee), we are only able to supply (for the foreseeable future), a limited colour range for the trim boards and seat trim, these being Black, Midnight Blue and Matador Red for the Vitesse Mkl 1600, and for the Vitesse 2 Litre (Mkl & Mk2), Black, Shadow Blue, Matador Red and Light Tan.
Our moulded carpet sets are only available in Black at the moment (we hope to introduce more colours shortly - please enquire), and our stitched carpet sets are available in various colours, please refer to 'Carpets' on page 72.
As an added service to our customers we offer a full seat re-trimming service (for those who don't wish to undertake this task!).

If you are considering a complete re-trim of the interior of your Vitesse, we can supply (from stock) a complete interior trim kit
Ordering everything that is required for such a project Could not be easier, all you have to do - from the list below - is identify your vehicle model, then Choose the colour you require, and by quoting just one part number, you are assured that nothing has been missed. (our kits are so complete, once you have identified your model, you may even change the colour!)
WHAT DO OUR KITS CONTAIN?
Although we do not include passenger area carpet sets in our interior trim kits, they are nonetheless very comprehensive, they even include the Boot trim.
You can use the following as a check List:
2 door trim panels and clips. Trim for 2 front seats, plus, 2 base cushions, 2 base diapraghms and all necessary clips, 2 base foam wraps, 2 squab foam pads or squab kits (depending upon model), 2 squab strap kits (and for the Vitesse Mk2 (2 Litre) 2 squab spring wire kits). Full rear seat trim kit (saloons & convertibles), plus, for saloons 1 seat base foam & 1 squab foam, and for convertibles 1 seat base foam & 1 squab horsehair pad. For the dash area & footwells, 1 upper & 1 lower dash panel with clips, 1 dash 'sound' insulation kit, 1 securing strap kit (for insulation) and 2 front scuttle panels. Rear 1/4 trim panels, or trim panel covering kit (depending upon model). And for saloon models only, 1 headlining kit, covering material for both 'B' posts and 2 rear wheel arch covers. For the boot our kits include; 2 boot floor 'sound' proofing panels, 1 spare wheel cover (black hardboard), 1 (Rh) side trim board, 1 boot floor hardura mat kit, 1 tool pouch (red), 1 jack/tool bag (black hardura), and for convertibles only, 1 boot to hood stowage board.

SEAT IDENTIFICATION
The following listings and descriptions for the Vitesse seats, are technically correct, and they are described as originally specified by the factory, prior to vehicle production. However, it is quite possible that the seat(s) fitted in your vehicle do not correspond with either our descriptions, or that in the Triumph parts lists. There were many overlaps of the various models (Herald & Vitesse) on the production line, couple this with model changes, and the lack of (the correct) finished items on the assembly line, and this has led us to believe that an unknown quantity of vehicles left the factory with the incorrect specification seats/trim fitted. Not to mention that the previous owner(s) may, at some time, have changed the seats themselves!
SEAT CONSTRUCTION
The internal construction of the front seats for the Mk1 Vitesse 1600 differ from the other models in that they were produced with a squab 'spring frame', which was originally covered in cotton wadding. This material has proved difficult to obtain, so for these models we now supply a special 'Squab Foam Pad' which replaces the 'spring-frame', and apart from being easier to fit, the foam pad is indistinguishable from the original both in looks and comfort.
30 YEARS OLD!
If you have decided to re-trim your seats, may we suggest that before ordering the kit of your choice, you inspect very carefully all the seat components to ensure that all is well, including the base foams and diaphragms (if they are old and mishaped, they wont really compliment your new trim), which after possibly 30 years of use, could be very tired.

NI Tailored Overmats Front & Rear - (NI) -

Our moulded carpet sets (which are felt backed) include both front footwells, carpet for the transmission tunnel, full rear passenger area carpet, and bulkhead (heel) mat The front footwell carpets have been designed to ensure a perfect fit (unlike the originals which worked loose!), and the drivers carpet has a heel mat fitted. The transmission tunnel carpet has been cut to provide a 'snug fit', and comes supplied with 2 pieces of loose felt (for the sides of the funnel). The rear carpet section, although very complex, will mould into shape as you fit it, this is due to the material (carpet & felt) from which it is manufactured. Finally, the bulkhead (heel) mat is again tailor-made for a trouble free fit Our moulded carpet kits (available only in Black at the moment) come complete with full fitting instructions.
Our stitched carpet sets also include front footwell carpets (with drivers heel pad), transmission tunnel and rear passenger area carpet, and a bulkhead (heel) mat. They are made from a high quality tufted pile material, with fully bound edges and sewn in footwell mats. Our stitched carpet kits are supplied in a range of colours.
