Triumph TR4A-5-250 Limited Slip Differential - IRS
This design of torque sensing differential makes it a worthwhile addition to any competition or fast road car. Allowing maximum drive to both rear wheels giving more grip under hard acceleration. These differentials (crown wheel carriers) are for fitting inside your own axle. Alternatively, purchase one of our exchange rear axles - fully reconditioned, complete with brand new limited slip diff and crownwheel & pinion. See ‘Rear Axle Unit Assy’.
The traditional type of limited slip differential was the plate type (as opposed to the Quaife geared type, a newer design), manufactured originally by GKN and sold as the Powrlok differential.
