Stainless Steel Bumper Set - Front & Rear - TR6 1973 On - RR1569
Mirror finish, polished stainless steel - similar appearance to chrome, but they never rust! Superb value when compared to standard bumpers. Includes Front & Rear bumper plus fittings. Suitable for vehicles with rear valance mounted number plate lamps. Made on a low-volume press tool and hand finished to ensure any matching joints are aligned as a car set. Expect to make minor adjustments when installing to allow for manufacturing and vehicle variances (loosely assemble and trial fit prior to final tightening). Made from high grade 304 spec stainless steel, with 20% being pure chrome. Internal surfaces are acid etch primed & painted for an original appearance.

The rear bumper of my TR6 was damaged by a TR3(!) in a roundabout (I stopped, the TR3 didn't). My old bumpers were originals from 1973, and this was a good time to upgrade to stainless steel, front and back. The bumpers were nicely polished and easy to fit, however, the holes of the joint washers (centre to corner rear bumper) were completely misplaced making the washers protrude by up to 5 mm. Nothing that a sharp knife couldn't fix, but very unnecessary bother. The bumpers, however, are good value.
